About Myself:
I am pursuing a PhD at IIT Kanpur, 2023 - present (Helicopter Laboratory, Department of Aerospace Engineering). I completed my MS at Polimi, Italy (2016 - 19) and obtained my BTech from HITS, Chennai (2011 - 15). My professional aspirations revolve around a career in academia or research.
I am an introvert. I believe in a simple life style. Regarding interests, I enjoy cycling, long-distance running, chess, cricket, volleyball, cooking, and traveling. My recent solo trips included visits to Badrinath and Khajuraho, while a previous trip to Thanjavur was with a friend. I've had the opportunity to visit or reside in 13 Indian states so far.
I maintain a lifestyle free from smoking, drinking, and meat consumption, and I am looking for a partner who shares these values, preferably someone who is either vegetarian or eggetarian.
Paternal Family Details:
Our present thikana is Karauli (Rajasthan). Our ancestral thikana is Jagammanpur, Jalaun (UP). Our family residence is located in Ajmer, Rajasthan. Our ancestors were invited to fight for the Maharaja of Karauli (Jadon). We belong to the dynasty of Th. Sewa Singh Sengar who migrated to Karauli during the rule of Maharaja Madanpal Singh of Karauli. Th. Sewa Singh Sengar was awarded the jagir of Jaunri-Gajjupura, Sapotra Tehsil, Karauli (Raj) with Tazeemi status on account of his outstanding bravery shown on the battlefield. We have been living in Rajasthan for the last 200 years.
With the end of the zamindari system and fights for land (pre & post-independence), my grandfather decided to leave Karauli. He is a retired central government officer (Retired as SSP, Head Post Office, Ajmer). He has a brother (my second grandfather, retired BSF commandant) who lives in Jaipur with his family. Our families have lost our jagiri in Gajjupura and the remaining land (if any) is managed/owned by my second grandfather. We had our ancestral assets in Karauli city but those assets are now managed/owned by my second grandfather. My grandfather decided to sever his ties with Karauli and built his home in Ajmer. Our family has been living in Ajmer for the last 50 years. We don't have much association with Karauli and we do not own land there anymore (if it matters).
My grandfather has 1 son (my father) and 3 daughters. The eldest daughter retired as a B.Ed college principal. The second daughter retired as a BSNL accounts officer. The youngest daughter is an IDAS officer and posted in New Delhi. She is serving as the Additional Controller General of Defence Accounts in the Ministry of Defence, New Delhi. My father, otherwise a bright student who cracked the RPSC, UPSC, and Railway Service exams a few times, couldn't achieve much success. He is not employed and never was.
My grandmother was a gogawat and she belonged to thikana - lahawad, Karauli.
Maternal Family Details:
My mother is Rajawat which is a sub-clan of Kachwaha Rajput. She belongs to the lineage of Maharaja Mansingh of Amber. Her gotra is Mansingh. She owns some agricultural land in thikana -Dehlod (Sawai Madhopur) which she has inherited from her father.
My nanosa (maternal grandfather) was the zamindar of Dehlodgarh. He had 4 daughters. My mother is the second daughter. The eldest daughter married Raja sahab Gajendra Singh Ralawata (Jodha Rathore) of Thikana - Ralawata (Ajmer). Raja Gajendra Singh Ralwata retired as Commissioner from Ajmer Nagar Nigam. He is presently active in politics. A well-known Politician from Ajmer, Raja Mahendra Singh Ralawata is the elder brother of my masosa. All our families maintain close relations and live together in Ajmer.
The third daughter married in Thikana - Gingoli, Nagour. Her family lives in Jodhpur. My second masosa works in Jodhpur University. He is passively active in politics. He is a very good friend of former CM Ashok Gehlot.
The fourth daughter married in thikana - Karonj, Kekri. My third masosa owns a school in Dudu.
My maternal grandmother (nanisa) was a champawat Rathore. She belonged to the famous and well-known Rajput thikana of Bajekan Dhingsara (Haryana). She was the eldest daughter of Thakur Hari Singhji. The royal thikana of Palwa (Alwar) is her nanihal.
To add a few more details, my mother's cousin brother (my mamosa) is a well-known wildlife conservationist, naturist, and guide. His name is Yadvendra Singh Rajawat. He has also authored a few wildlife books.
Preference:
There are only 4 members in our family - myself, my mother, my father, and my grandfather. I do not have siblings. Most of our family background is history. Present us belong to a humble middle-class but respected family from Ajmer. We seek an alliance with a genuine Rajput family of similar status.
I hold conservative opinions and want to marry a girl from a traditional/conservative family. The girl must have high moral and cultural values (I mean it) which is a rare quality these days. I am not in favor of the Westernization of Indian culture. The girl should be religious and familiar with Rajputi culture. If you do not belong to this category, look away.
I would strongly prefer a girl who would work after marriage. But her profession must be compatible with married life. Her profession must not sabotage her married life. If you do not belong to such professions then look away.
We have relations among Rathore, Rajawat, Chauhan, Naruka, Champawat, Bhati, Sisodiya, Solanki, Jadon, Raghuvanshi, and Shaktawat. We have relations in the royal Rajput thikana such as Dehlod (Sawai Madhopur), Ralawata (Ajmer), Bajekan Dhingsara (Haryana), Pagara (Bundi), etc.
thanks, for your time as i am putting up this profile for myself i am currently working as a senior software engineer, after having completed my bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering. i come from an upper middle class family where we possess traditional yet mordern values basically my ancestral origin is himachal pradesh and i am born and brought up in ajmer,rajasthan. i am a modern thinker comes from a liberal family. my father got retired from engineering background and my mother is a homemaker. i have one married sister who is happily married and staying in banglore as my brother-in-law works with goldmann sachs. one unmarried brother who is working as a manager with bajaj finance. Currently i am working from home and seems like its gonna be same for around next 2 years.So in this scenario I can relocate to girl's location if she is working somewhere but I am open to these 4 locations(Gurugram, Chandigarh, Pune and Mumbai) later when office resumes after that my work location would be in mumbai or pune.
